文化导向型模拟法外语教学方式探 讨

外语教学中夸大|教学论文网|了解目的语文化和培养跨文化交际能力的重要性已经为外语教育者所认同。但是如何在外语教学中有效地实施文化教学尚未达成共鸣。本文从语言文化观和文化习得过程入手，指出语言教学与文化教学是组成外语教学不可或缺的部分，语言教学在其中的本体地位不可更改。文化习得的过程实际上是对母语文化系统以及原有认知结构的加工与改造。习得的结果是形成一个不同于母语与目的语文化简单相加的第三文化系统。鉴于上述理论，笔者尝试性地提出一种以模拟法为基础的外语教学模式。教师依据学生的语言水平和兴趣爱好，借助网络和多媒体技术手段，向学生输入文字、视频、音频等材料，灌输一种目的语文化语境，学生在教师的指导和监视下通过自主学习，完成教师在这一语境中设置的任务，以培养其跨文化交际能力。该模式以目的语文化为导向，以学生为中心，通过运用多媒体和现代网络技术，在学生头脑中形成一种较为真实的目的语文化语境，优化了第二语言(文化)习得环境。学生的自主性得到最大程度的发挥，教师在模拟程序的不同阶段扮演不同角色(设计者→引导者→指导者→监视者→评价者)，潜移默化地培养学生的跨文化意识，加深其对目的语文化的理解，终极培养其跨文化交际能力。理论上，该模式能使学生对语言学习产生极大的兴趣；模拟语境中的大量语言实践增强了学生的学习动机；新型的师生关系大大缓解了学习中的紧张心理。理论探讨之后，笔者提出该模式的实行原则，并以美国文化课程为例在南京中医药大学的四个班级进行教学试点，对正负两方面的教学效果进行分析，提出了改进思路。【关键词】：第二文化习得外语教学文化导向模拟教学
