贝多芬,《Module 3 Music》教学设计

教学内容
外研版普通高中课程标准实验教科书册模块。
教材浅析
此课课型为阅读理解课。学生对于18世纪海顿、莫扎特和贝多芬三位作曲家比较熟悉，对的作品和生平也。在学完“必修一”，学生的英语提高，有的英语，对于本课所涉及的知识点也比较接受的。
教学

1.知识与技能

掌握必要的短语、句型；阅读任务提高学生的阅读能力，引导学生正确理解文章的内容。

2.与策略教学论文

多媒体播放贝多芬的作品《命运》，以此导入新课，调动学生学习本课的积极性；阅读任务，提高学生的阅读能力，培养自主探究学习和合作学习的能力；举例、归纳等策略教学论文，让学生牢牢掌握本课的英语知识点。

3.情感态度与价值观

学习三位伟大作曲家的顽强拼搏精神，提高音乐鉴赏能力。
教学

1.掌握英语短语和句型。

2.培养英语阅读能力。

教学难点

1.强调句的用法。

2.时间状语以句的用法。

StepⅠ Lead-in（导入）
⒈多媒体播放贝多芬的《命运交响曲》（Fate Symphony），让学生猜测作品的名称及作者。
2.在学生说出贝多芬，在大屏幕上显现三位伟大作曲家的照片：贝多芬（Beethoven）、莫扎特 (Mozart)和海顿（Haydn）。导入新课。
Step II Skimming（略读）
Read the passage quickly to get the main idea and choose the best title of the passage.(阅读课文获知大意并选出最佳标题)
A.Three Great Austrian Composers.
B.Three Great Composers of the Eighteenth century.
C.Three Great Pop Music Composers.
Step Ⅲ Scanning（寻读）
Read the text again and answer the questions.
1.How long did Haydn work in eastern Austria?
2.How many pieces of music did Mozart compose?
3.How old was he when Mozart played for the Empress of Austria?

4.How long were Mozart and Haydn friends?

5.Who taught Beethoven how to play the piano?
6.Did Beethoven stop composing when he became deaf?
Step Ⅳ Group work (团队合作)
把班级学生分成五组，让各组讨论完成下面两个理由：

1.What can you learn through the text?

2.Tell us a story about Haydn, Mozart or Beethoven.
Step VLanguage points(知识点)
大屏幕呈现知识点，增加课堂容量：
1.短语
change---into--- of all time from an early age as well as

让学生课文内容猜出这些短语的意思，并让学生用其写英语句子。
2.He learned to play the harpsichord when he was four.
While he was still a teenager, Mozart was already a big star.
As he grew older, he began to go deaf.
让学生观察这三个以文章中摘下来的句子，并引导学生归纳时间状语以句的特点。
3.However, it was Haydn who encouraged Beethoven to move to Vienna.
让学生把句中”it was--- who”删掉，“Haydn encouraged Beethoven to move to Vienna.”句子非常完整，以而引出强调句“it was---- who/that---”。

Writean essay about a famous Chinese musician using the patterns learnt from the text.
