象似性及其在英语教学中运用

象似性是认知语言学中的一个热门话题,是语言相对于任意性的另一个基本特征。简单来说,象似性描述了语言符号的能指和所指之间存在的自然联系,其研究对了解语言符号和认知机制之间的关系意义重大。目前,国内外不少学者发表论文,不仅就象似性理论进行探索,而且十分重视象似性的应用研究,特别是在语言教学方面。在英语教学中,词汇、语法和翻译教学既是重点也是难点。如何使讲解过程更生动形象,易于理解一直是教育工作者探求的目标。象似性揭示了语言现象和人的熟悉与思维之间的本质联系,因此在教学中应用象似性理论解释某些语言现象,使学生不但知其然而且知其所以然,会达到事半功倍的效果。基于象似性的基本理论,本文作者在此方面做了进一步的探讨。文章首先针对词汇、语法和翻译教学三个层面的不同要求,将象似性理论细分为小的种别,逐一|语文教学论文|举例进行阐述。然后通过查阅英语教学方面的资料,提炼出词汇、语法和翻译教学中经常碰到的各种问题,最后用象似性理论加以解释,从而使文章具有很强的针对性和实用价值。象似性理论对教学有深远的指导意义,因此加深对象似性理论的理解,有意识的将其应用于教学实践是很有必要的,这也是本文的目的所在。【关键词】:象似性英语教学词汇语法翻译
