试述教学方法浅谈英语教学办法理工
Abstract: This article discusses how to be more effective in College English teaching, based on the research and practice of present situation in class, and on the basis of cultural introduction by using appropriate teaching skills, cooperating with the use of multimedia and network resource, etc.

摘 要:本文以大学英语教学现状理论研究,课上实践的基础上,以英语教师课堂文化导入运用适当教学技巧,配合的媒体等方面,探讨如何更加有效的教学。

Introduction
With the deepening of English learning, more and more people realize that only to rely on the correct pronunciation, accurate grammar and abundant vocabulary is not enough to communicate with foreigners by using proper English. In the process of cross-cultural communication, it is necessary to understand western culture to oid all kinds of misunderstanding and barriers.
The main aim of setting up college English course is to enhance the ability of college students’ English skills and consolidate their language system. In actual college English teaching process, by the examination-oriented education, teachers always pay attention to the English reading ability and vocabulary of students, but ignore students’ oral English development. Also, this kind of teaching method ignores the students’ ability of self-studying and solving problems. In the practice of teaching, the teacher should not only introduce the language knowledge, but also should use various ways to incorporate cultural background into the process of college English teaching, and make the progres摘自:本科论文www.618jyw.com
ses of students’ language competence and communicative ability. This article discusses several commonly used methods in the current college English teaching process in China, and from the angle of adaptability comprehensively uses these methods into teaching process, to overcome the past long-term existing disadvantages of teaching and learning styles.
Relevant Aspects of Teaching Methods
Designing teaching methods by the real situations embodies that there is a teaching method with no pattern fixed. Even the most outstanding teaching theory cannot be independently used in teaching practice, especially in English teaching. There is no such a teaching process which does not use other teaching methods. No matter a student or a teacher, teaching and learning methods are always the priority in the teaching process, because good methods can make things get twice the result with half the effort.
1. To strengthen cultural introduction in college English teaching A certain cultural background helps to promote the improvement of students’ language application ability. So how to introduce the cultural background to the students? We should first train students’ positive attitudes of the foreign culture. We should encourage them to read more English newspapers and magazines, watch English movies or even keep writing diary in English. Then, the teacher should be selective to introduce the different theme of materials in the content such as characters, geography, customs, history, values and so on.
2. To use appropriate teaching skills to improve the classroom efficiency
m teaching activities, English teachers should be fully active classroom atmosphere and activate students thinking to cultivate their interests in learning, to let students he the opportunity to show themselves and to courage them to open their mouth to speak English. Interest teaching method can help students get some experience and improve their basic ability of languages.
3. Rational use of multimedia and network resource
The modernization of teaching methods is a kind of important guarantee of improving teaching efficiency and teaching quality. Multimedia aided instruction has becoming more and more a tendency today which is not only the embodiment of modern education but also the most important component of instruction reform. Multimedia English teaching can let these pale words in books become into a fresh voice and throbbing image, and with a vivid way let the students contact with English.
Conclusion
College English learning and teaching problems he existed for a long time in China. What kind of teaching method is more suitable for Chinese students? This is still a question. College English teachers should renew the teaching idea, try new teaching reform, and promote the development of college English education in China. To solve these problems cannot accomplish in one move, it still need the close cooperation and permanent efforts between the teachers and students.
