语言课堂上英文流行歌曲运用

中国的年轻教育者们开始留意到流行文化在现代学生生活和学习中所扮演的重要角色。国外早已有实验证实了音乐能力和阅读能力之间的明显相关性。受到西方相关理论和研究的启发，中国的年轻教师们也开始研究如何在正规课堂上将流行文化和教育相结合。然而，关于在语言教学中运用英文流行歌曲的研究仍然寥寥无几。本论文旨在探索英文流行歌曲和英语语言教学之间的关系。数据通过自制问卷，学生面谈，课堂观察以及实验四种方式收集，并且采用SPSS对数据进行了分析。数据统计结果证实了英文流行歌曲不仅可以激发学生的学习动机，而且证实了通过歌曲学习比独立记忆更有效；论文并且举例说明歌词包含了丰富的语言文化知识。这些结论为英语教师在语言课堂上使用英文歌曲提供了理论和实践依据。本文结尾还提出了一些可以鉴戒的课堂教学方法。文章最后为将来的相关研究提出了参考建议。【关键词】：英文歌曲歌词语言教学动机兴趣课堂气氛学习长期记忆
