Objectives:
By the end of this session, students will be better able to talk about an exeprience. This will be achieved by:

2. Write a story.

Learning and Teaching Focus:
1. Questions and statements with past progressive.

2. Adverbial clause with when and while.

3. How to talk about an experience.

Anticipated difficulties:
Some students may be difficult to write the story by using the new patterns.
Solutions:
Ask students to take the article as an example and explain the pictures.
Stage I:Warming up and pre-reading

1.Greetings

2. Look at the video and see what happened.

3. Answer the teacher’s questions.

4. Make predictions of the picture ( section B 3)
Stage II: While-reading

6. Read carefully and fill in the chart.

Stage III: Post-reading and pre-writing

7. Pair work:

8.Answer some questions about the pictures (4a).

9. Write a story according to these pictures.
Stage v: Post-writing and assess ion
10. Give scores to themselves and partner according to the standard.
Homework:(about 1 min)
Group work : Find out who is the thief.
Make a conversation. Four in a group. One is police, one is thief, and the other two are suspicions. .
