Teachers, as the most important part in the society, are playing significant roles from the ancient times to the modern society. As the examination-oriented education is tranorming into education for all-round development, it is necessary to develop students’ all-round qualities. From this point of view, moral education has vital significance in the development of students. Ethical education is a kind of rational education, which goal is to help the individual set up correct cognition. As a teacher, teaching students how to behe well comes first. Different teacher-and-student relationship will lead to different result of education more often than not. A democratic, equal, civilized, and harmonious relationship can bring a good result of education. How to build upsuch kind of relationship? Moral education is indispensable.
Moral education, is not delivering a sermon, but an educative course which helps students form proper world outlook, outlook on life and values by way of practicing, dredging and so on. Students who are treated by teachers rudely always behe rebel and even show some antagonistic sentiments to their teachers. However, teachers who lay stress on moral education can build up equal and harmonious atmosphere among students. There are two ways of teaching: A. the teacher just only tells his students not to oke; otherwise, they will be punished. Students are confused about why they will get punishment. But they can’t find the answer from their teacher. B. the teacher tells students not to oke because it is bad for people’s health. Smoking can cause much disease, such as cancer, heart disease and so on. It even can deprive people’s life. Maybe no one will oke. But students accepted the former one passively. If their teacher always keeps doing in that way, it will be difficult to form a harmonious teacher-and-student relationship, and all the students will be disgusted with the teacher. Compared with the former, the latter one is better. It makes the principal easier for students to accept. It is more helpful to build up a harmonious teacher-and-student relationship.

Therefore, school should create a healthy, comfortable environment which is inclined to goodness or charity to educate students. The foundation of moral education lies in respecting lives and ordinary needs in the course of students’ growing to maturity. Moral education is a process in which teenagers take the initiative to comprehend stipulations of an agreement, choose the values and experience, which makes up an important study experience. From this point of view, moral education is good for individual’s development. Its level of expansion embodies the level of civilization. Although it still has a long way to go, it has become a vital part in school education.
