高职学生外语焦虑实证探讨

外语焦虑是与外语语境有关的畏惧或紧张的情绪。很多研究及教学实践表明外语焦虑在中国大学生中广泛存在。本论文旨在调查高等职业技术学院学生的外语焦虑特点,研究焦虑水平与学习成绩的相关性,及比较英语专业学生与非英语专业学生的焦虑水平差异。本研究的被试为广东女子职业技术学院的172名大二学生,采用的研究工具为外语焦虑量表及被试的大学英语四级成绩。研究结果表明,高职学生的外语焦虑指数较高(99.44),担心负评价是影响焦虑的主要因素;英语专业学生与非英语专业学生的焦虑水平差异明显(T-value=-3.714,p<.001):外语焦虑与外语学习成绩明显负相关(r=-.679,P<.001)。在实证研究的基础上,本论文给出了本研究对教学的启示,并针对本研究的局限性,提出了进一步研究的建议。【关键词】:外语焦虑高职学生外语学习
